Dignity first
No child should be shamed for being hungry. We help quietly, so kids keep their pride and their lunch.
The Lunch Money Foundation started with a simple belief: a kid who is fed is a kid who can learn, play, and thrive. We make sure students have the food they need — and erase the debts that get in the way.
We believe access to food at school is not a privilege — it's a foundation for everything else. Yet millions of students face food insecurity, and unpaid lunch balances can mean denied meals and quiet humiliation.
The Lunch Money Foundation closes that gap. We pay off student lunch debt, stock schools with healthy snacks, send food home for weekends and breaks, and fund the celebrations that make school a place kids want to be.
When a child is hungry, learning stops. Concentration fades, behavior suffers, and confidence erodes. Lunch debt adds shame on top of need — and families already stretched thin shoulder one more burden.
By covering these costs, we let students focus on what they're there to do: grow. Our work is small in dollars per child and enormous in impact.

When a school flags a need, we move. Funds go straight to meal accounts, pantries, and snack bins.
We report where every dollar goes. Program donations reach students — not overhead.
We work hand-in-hand with local schools, counselors, and families who know the need best.
Whether you give, volunteer, or spread the word — you help keep a student fed.
